RBH is delighted to report that RBH has received a fundraising challenge for our Capital Campaign.  Three private donors have committed to donate - on a dollar for dollar matching basis - up to $7000 towards our Capital Campaign. Their plan is to increase the giving by those who care the most about RBH and its mission.  If we are successful, together we can add another $14,000 – and perhaps more - to our building fund and move Recycle Bicycle Harrisburg just that much closer to securing a new permanent home. If you’ve been in the Atlas Street Warehouse recently, you really know how desperate we are for more space!

The Campaign Challenge will begin immediately and run through December 31, 2017

What will count as a gift to meet the challenge? Only the following:

All new gifts plus new donations made through the RBH website. Make sure your check earmarked for the Campaign Challenge.  If you donate through the website, make sure you let Sue Settle know your donation is to meet the Campaign Challenge.  This email address is being protected from spambots. New United Way pass-through gifts. Make your gift to the United Way of the Capital Region and specify that your gift is to go towards Recycle Bicycle Harrisburg. They have RBH on their list as a registered charity towards which UW donations can go!

New matching gifts from corporate entities* that have an employee matching gift program. Not sure your employer makes matching gifts? Just ASK!! Remember that if your employer matches your $100 gift – the Campaign Donors will match that dollar for dollar for a total gift of $400 to RBH!

New gifts from donor-advised funds* (Fidelity, Vanguard and other mutual fund companies and brokerages) with which you have already set up a DAF. They will require our federal non-profit 501(c)3 employer ID number which is 81-1000623. RBH is qualified under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 170.

What will NOT count as donations to the Campaign Challenge.
