Silver Spokes Email Ride Ride. 31.8miles @ 12 mph

Cynthia Gorski (L), Dave Kurth, Lou Searles, Howard Davison, Alice and Bill Graham, Tim and Cindy Hoehn, John Landis, Dave Miller, Dale Bluman, Marilyn Chastek , Ed Cashin (S).

Thirteen of us came out anticipating a warm day with temperatures ranging from 38 degrees to almost 50 degrees during our ride.  As start time approached the sun disappeared under heavy overcast skies and the temperature stayed at 36 degrees most of the day.  The day was cold, damp and gray but the sun shone brightly in our souls because we were riding!  We did a giant loop which was mostly flat but it did have a few short hills thrown in on Petersburg Rd. to keep us warm.  As we rode along Creek Rd. we spotted some Hooded Merganser ducks, which I have not seen in this area before, and on Konhaus Rd. there was a flock of Robins!  Spring will be here before we know it.  Tim and Cindy broke off on Old Stonehouse Rd. and Dave and Lou broke off at Brindle.  The rest of us made our way back to T.J. Rockwell’s and many stayed to enjoy lunch.
