What a wonderful day for a ride, with sun and warmth in abundance. Quite a change from the weather we've been having. We did a loop from the Giant in Mechanicsburg out to Boiling Springs and back, catching up on all the stuff people have been doing since we last saw them. The Grahams spent time in Florida, Grace did a bike trip down south as did Mike Prestosh, although it was a different trip than the one Grace did. Bill and Mike will soon be heading down to North Caroline for a bike trip, and Peter is heading to Philly for the cherry blossoms. It was great to see Terry back but we were sorry to hear his wife isn't well. Jack and Bill confessed their happiness with their e-bikes while 11 of us enjoyed lunch as Guiseppi's Pizza Cantina.
Scott is in the process of getting together an escort group for 5 riders who are coming to Harrisburg as part of the first 911 Trail group. This trail connects the 3 locations of the 911 plane crashes and riders will go from Washington D.C. to Shanksville and then to NYC. They will arrive in Harrisburg on April 19 and depart on the 20th. The exact times and locations where we will meet up with them are yet to be determined. If anyone wants to escort the 911 Riders on 4/19 or 4/20 or on both days, click on this link:
