Silver Spokes Email Ride Ride. 26miles @ 12.2 mph

Marilyn Chastek (L), Sharon Reilly, Jack Withers, Dave Miller, Lou Searles

It was a brisk but beautiful autumn afternoon and a great day for a ride.  The sunshine brought out the brilliants colors in the foliage that won't last much longer, I'm afraid.

It was good to see Lou back on the bike after all the time he spent recovering from an infection. And of course Jack had his spiffy green ebike...I love that color!

We headed off to Creek Road and then into Churchtown where we made a short stop at the Rutter's.  From there we went north and meandered our way back to Pleasant View Park.

It was a nice sized group of riders and we all stuck together and enjoyed some good conversation along the way. We spotted 2 red tailed hawks on Biddle Road and shortly afterwards, some alpacas spotted us. The famers were busy harvesting corn and soybeans, leaving us some corn cobs to dodge along the way.

The link for the basic route is below, but I made some minor changes for today's ride.
