Ride Description:

Let's meet this week at the Palmyra Borough Municipal Building, 325 South Railroad Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.  This ride will be the Lebanon Valley Bicycle Club's Tour de Farms route which is a 29 mile loop from Palmyra to Colebrook and back.  Pace will be in the average range of 12-13 mph as we weave in and out of the scenic farmlands of Dauphin and Lebanon Counties. There is one significant hill and a few small ones, but no one has ever had trouble with the hills. There will be a rest stop about half way in Colebrook at the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail where there is a port-o-potty.

We'll also stop a few minutes for reverence at the Three Red Bikes display that recognizes the horrific incident where three fellow cyclists were injured by a (________) hit and run driver - fill in the blank with enraged, angry, intoxicated, impaired, insane, deranged, perhaps all of these conditions, or choose your own words.

This ride usually takes less than three hours, including breaks, and we should be finished about 1130 am.

in the event of rain, I will send a cancellation email message no later than 7:00 am Saturday morning. If the weather is questionable, check your emails, call or text me before you leave home.

Hope you can make it!
