Ride Description:

Name:   Colebrook

Stats:     27 miles (1,120 ft.)

Speed:  11-13 mph

Start Location:  Briarcrest Parking Lot in Hershey

Start Time:  9:00 AM

At 9:00 AM we’ll be starting at the Briarcrest Parking lot in Hershey.   We’ll be taking a scenic ride heading southeast to Colebrook near Mt. Gretna where we’ll take a restroom break at 12 miles.  Then we’ll head up Mt. Wilson which will be our most significant climb.  We can all do it because we have all done it ?.  We’ll regroup, rest and refresh at the top before taking that beautiful downhill ride.  And, we’ll snake through the residential areas of Hershey back to Briarcrest.

Restroom facilities may or may not be open at Briarcrest.  But, if we really need to, we can easily stop at Hershey Med to use their facilities before getting into our ride.  I anticipate that we’ll finish pretty close to 12 mph.  No one will be left behind.

The current weather forecast calls for sunny skies with a high near 32 degrees.  It’ll be pretty cool first thing in the morning so bring your best winter riding clothes…as if anyone needed reminded of that!

For directions, you can enter “Briarcrest Drive and Centerview Lane” in Google Maps and it'll get you to Briarcrest.  It’s located behind the Turkey Hill on Route 322 just across the street from the Hershey Medical Center.

The D+ group will be starting at a different location.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I'll cancel by 8:00 AM Saturday via email in the event of poor riding weather.
