Ride Description:

The temperature for this Saturday looks to be one of warmest Saturdays this winter.  The melting snow from the shoulders will probably cause some wet areas, but if we stay on the main roads, we should me okay.  So, let's meet at Fort Hunter on the east side (Barn Side) of Front Street and we will ride what the road conditions allow.  Plan to ride 25 to 30 miles at approximately 12 mph.  We may repeat a version the ride that we did three weeks ago by going up Linglestown Road to Koon's Park, over to Piketown, up Piketown Hill, down Appleby or Sleepy Hollow, and back to Fort Hunter via Route 443.  The only significant hill is Piketown Hill, but everyone breezed (or maybe weezed) up it the last time. It really isn't that bad and we will regroup at the top for a break before continuing.

If weather conditions require it, I will send a cancellation notice to our group's email distribution list no later than 8:00 am Saturday Morning.  If the weather is questionable, check your email messages before you leave home or call/text/email me.

Hope to see you there!
