From Hershey.  Proceed North on Rt 39.  Crossover route 22.  After a mile or so, make a right onto Jonestown Road.  Go about 2 miles and turn left onto Manada Gap road.  Go 150 feet or so and make a left into the Parking lot of East Hanover Park and Township Municipal Center.

From the location of the (now burnt down) Grantville Diner.  from 22 in front of the diner go north on Sandbeach Road, less than one mile to Jonestown Road.  Make a left.  At Manada Gap Road, make a right.  Go 150 feet or so and make a left into the Parking lot of East Hanover Park and Township Municipal Center.

Saturday Morning C

Sat. 29 Apr, 2017 9:00 am
Ride Description:

We'll meet this week at the Palmyra Borough Municipal Center, 325 South Railroad Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.  This ride will be the Lebanon Valley Bicycle Club's Tour de Farms and is one of our east shore favorites.  Plan to ride about 29 miles of rolling terrain at 11-12 mph as we weave in and out of the scenic farmlands of Dauphin and Lebanon Counties.  There is one significant hill at the half way point, but it isn't too bad and we will regroup at the top before continuing.  Then, the second half of the ride is mostly flat.

If you have been waiting for a warm day to get your bike out, this might be it.  The weather is supposed to be nice and we should be finished around 11:30 am.

In the event of rain, I will send a cancellation email no later than 8:00 Saturday morning.  If the weather is questionable, check your email messages or call or text me before you leave home.

If anyone has questions or needs better directions, send me an email or call or text at contact information below.  Hope to see you there!

Note: This week the D Plus Ride is not starting from the same location as the C Ride.  If you are interested in that ride, check the D Plus email announcement or read about it on the website under Upcoming Rides.  Everyone is welcome to join the ride of their choice!
