Saturday Morning C

Sat. 13 Jan, 2018 9:00 am
Ride Description:

Join us this week (weather permitting) at Memorial Lake State Park, Middle Road Entrance, and plan to ride 20-25 miles over and thru the rolling terrain of Lebanon County. Actual mileage will be determined by weather conditions. There is a heated restroom available at the start/end location.

There is no real destination, just a 20-25 mile loop out to the Union Water Works area of Ono and back.  It is on mostly rural, country roads thru farmlands and wooded areas. We usually see some wildlife, as well as many farm animals.  There is only on fairly steep hill on Black’s Bridge Road, but no one has had any real difficulty with it in the past.  We did this ride a few times last year and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was also scheduled in mid December, but cancelled because of the weather.

The weather Saturday morning is again questionable with a possible wintry mix of snow flurries and/or rain. (Boo Hiss) If conditions aren’t suitable for cycling, I will send a cancellation email to the distribution list no later than 7:30 Saturday morning. If the weather is questionable, check your emails, call, or text me before you leave home.

I think you will enjoy this ride and hope you can make it.

If you are interested in a little shorter ride, the D Plus group is starting at the same time and location. Check that email distribution list or the club website for those details.
