New Location at HACC Midtown Location Chosen for the Jan. 11 and Feb. 8 General Membership Meeting
This new meeting location in the vibrant Midtown Section of Harrisburg offers a convenient, centrally located venue for all HBC members. There is free and safe parking in the HACC lot on Reilly Street, and HACC is graciously allowing us to meet in their building free of charge. The Midtown area is also the center of Harrisburg’s growing bike culture and we hope to see some new, young faces at these meetings.
If you haven’t been to Midtown Harrisburg recently, you should really check it out. It features many new trendy restaurants and the beautiful Susquehanna Art Museum. HACC Harrisburg is right next to the Midtown Cinema where you can see great films in a unique atmosphere and enjoy Harrisburg’s own Urban Churn Ice Cream and other tasty treats, whether you are staying for the movie or not. In the rear of the same building, you can also taste some craft brews at Zer0day Brewery. The Brewery is open until 11:00 p.m. the night of the meeting but the Cinema closes at 9:00 p.m. For more information about the Midtown area, click on this link: http://www.pennlive.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2015/04/21_reasons_to_love_midtown_har.html#0
