Join me on Tuesday 10/21/25 at 1:00 pm at the Newport Weis Markets for this 28 mile, 1,903' elevation gain ride. We will ride up hill to reach Middle Ridge Road. Then, we will travel along the ridge looping at Roseburg and turning on Erly Rd. for our return leg. We will continue on Little Buffalo Rd. and pass by Lake Holman before eventually returning to Newport via Route 34. If the group prefers, 30 miles can be obtained easily by circling the town and rec. field for a few additional miles. I recently rode this 28-mile route at 12.7 mph average. I will be slower on the first half (ascents) and faster on the second half due to the terrain. A C pace suitable for the group will be maintained with no rider dropped. (Please contact me if unsure about this ride.) There is a restroom (port-a-pot style) available at mile 15. Expect a few brief stops and a pretty fall day.
