Marilyn Chastek is a member of the Cumberland Singers and we're going to the group's Friday night performance and to Jo Jo's Pizza, 2210 Aspen Drive, Mechanicsburg (Upper Allen location) afterwards. Jo Jo's is very close to the church where the performance takes place. The Cumberland Singers’ concert theme for this winter is “Songs for a New Season”, and the performance is scheduled for:
Friday, Dec. 12 8:00 p.m. St. Peter’s UCC, 130 Nittany Drive, Mechanicsburg
These concerts are free and open to the public, but donations are welcome. A reception with food and beverage will follow the performance or you can head directly to Jo Jo's.
The Cumberland Singers is an auditioned choir of women’s treble voices striving to create a sense of community through the performance of choral music, both secular and non-secular. The goal is to bring joy to the community and each other through performing and learning high quality choral music.
