Ride Description:

Name:   Memorial Lake Via Harpers Tavern & Ono

Stats:    27 miles (1,235 ft.)

Speed:  11-13 mph

Start Location:  East Hanover Community Park

At 9:00 AM we’ll be starting at the East Hanover Community Park.

We’ll bike east through Harpers Tavern and Ono before working our way to the Middle Road parking lot at Memorial Lake where we’ll take our mid-ride break at mile 17.  Restroom facilities will be available at East Hanover Community Park (porta-john) and at Memorial Lake (heated restroom).  Then, we’ll take Route 443 to Manada Gap and back to the East Hanover Community Park.

This is a relatively light climb of 1,235 ft for a 27 mile bike ride in central PA with no humdinger hills.  I anticipate that we’ll finish between 12-13 mph and no one will be left behind.

For directions, you can enter “East Hanover Community Park” in Google Maps and it'll get you there.  It’s located in the northwest corner of the intersection of Jonestown Road and Manada Gap Road.

The D+ group will be starting at a different location.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.  Its been a while since I’ve been able to join you on a Saturday ride.

I'll cancel by 8:00 AM Saturday via email in the event of poor riding weather.
