The Harrisburg Bicycle Club’s Three Creek Century will take
place on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Registration will is now open!

The Three Creek Century is the Harrisburg Bicycle Club’s largest fund-raiser. Revenues from this event fund HBC’s Grant Program, which provides financial support to local non-profit organizations focused on cycling and wellness.

Our event is well known in the cycling community for our friendly volunteers, beautiful routes, and great food, including homemade soup and hundreds of freshly baked cookies!  Please come out and support the Harrisburg Bicycle Club and the Central Pennsylvania cycling community by registering for the event, volunteering, or both!

Volunteer sign-up: www.harrisburgbicycleclub.org Look at the top of the home page and click on “Volunteer”

The Three Creek Century will be held at the Penn Township Volunteer Fire Company (VFC) complex located at 1750 Pine Road, Newville PA 17241. Please note that this location is not the Penn Township Supervisors Office on Centerville Rd. Our event takes place at the Volunteer Fire Company site on Pine Rd.

We ride rain or shine. All routes start and finish at the Penn Township VFC site, except the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail, which starts at the Newville Trailhead located at 23 McFarland St. in Newville, PA.

Routes

For 2024, we will have two completely new routes that will offer some new scenery and quieter roads. Routes will be finalized by August and will include the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail, road routes ranging from 20 miles to 51 miles in length, and optional challenges on South Mountain and Kings Gap State Park. This event is a ride, not a race, and there’s a route for every type of rider!

All routes, except the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail, circle back to the Penn Township Fire Volunteer Fire Company. Combine the 20 mile route, the 32 mile route and one of the 51 mile routes for a total of 103 miles! Make other route combinations to customize your distance. You can also add on the Kings Gap Climb for some bonus miles!

We will provide links to cue sheets and Ride with GPS files for all routes, including a combined file for a full century rid
