HBC WILLIAMSBURG TRIP 

The Harrisburg Bicycle Club sponsors a 3-day bicycling event in Williamsburg, VA every other year for active members.  In 2024, this event will be held from September 19-22, 2024

The format for the event is as follows:

• Travel to Williamsburg on Thursday, 9/19 and check in to the Powhatan Resorts.
• Bicycle on a route of your choosing Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. A collection of routes to choose from will be available on Ride With GPS.
• Check out and return to Harrisburg on Sunday, 9/22.

This year, the event lodging will be at the Powhatan Resorts, a Hilton property.  Either one-bedroom or two-bedroom units are available.  More information can be found on the Accommodations page.  The Powhatan Resorts is located a few miles West of Williamsburg and is very convenient to the majority of the cycling routes in Charles City County, Surry County and the Virginia Capital Trail.

Hospitalities will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 - 6 PM.

An on-line registration process is now available.  Attendees are asked to first make their own reservations at the Powhatan and then once made, to register on the HBC website.  We use the HBC website to track people attending and it provides us an easy way to communicate to each person attending.  Instructions for making the lodging reservations are found on the Accommodations tab.  This will ensure you get our negotiated room rate from our block of reserved units.  NOTE: the deadline for reservations is 8/19/24.  After that date, any rooms not booked from our room block will be released.  As explained on the Accommodations tab, you may also add additional days before or after the event at our negotiated rate.
