About this event
Weather is looking good for Saturday so we are heading west to Shippensburg. The trail surface is fairly level (flat), well maintained, smooth crushed gravel, with paved road intersections.
Bring water and a snack. We will take a break at the Shippensburg Township Park Pavilion (restrooms available).

Directions to the Newville trail head parking lot, which has restrooms:
From Harrisburg take Interstate 81 south to exit 37, Newville. Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp on to route 233 north. Drive straight ahead for 3.8 miles. Turn left at the CVRT sign on to route 533 west, which is Vine Street. Continue 0.6 miles to the next CVRT sign which will be at the intersection of Rich Street. Turn left on Rich Street. The parking lot is about four blocks ahead at the intersection of Rich Street and McFarland Street. For GPS users, the address is: 23 McFarland Street, Newville, PA 17241.
