Non-HBC activity but all club members welcome to join.
Meet at 9 AM at the South Mountain PA Post Office, 10444 S Mountain Rd, South Mountain, PA 17261 (5 miles south of Caledonia State Park). Approximately a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Harrisburg.
This will be a moderate 7-mile hike in the Michaux State Forest’s Chimney Rock Vista area. Lunch at the Appalachian Trail Tumbling Run Shelters. Rest stop at the Chimney Rock Vista to enjoy the view.
Bring warm clothes, water, lunch, snacks, and camera for a day out in the woods.
