Meet at 9 AM at the Appalachian Trail crossing of Shippensburg Rd (Big Flat) near Pine Grove Furnace State Park.

Approximately a 1-hour drive from Harrisburg.

This will be a moderate 7-mile hike in the Michaux State Forest. We will car pool to the Stillhouse Hollow Rd trail junction and hike back to Big Flat. No significant climbs nor descents. Just a relaxing stroll on top of the ridge.

Bring warm clothes, water, lunch, snacks, and camera for a day out in the woods.
