About this event
Join me at the Newport 11&15 Park and Ride (Bucks Valley Road). We will ride along the Juniata River to downtown Newport for a treat at Sweet to the Soul in Newport (craft ice-cream and bakery items). This is an out and back ride for a 20-mile round trip. If you can complete 20 miles at 10 mph - 13 mph, this ride is for you. While considered a relaxed Friday ride, please note that drivers on this road are not used to seeing groups of cyclists. So, wear bright colors, use daytime flashing lights, and be prepared for some single file riding especially when "Car back!" is called out.
