About this event
The Saturday C ride for October 26 will depart from Middle Road at Memorial Lake. Street address is 18 Boundary Rd, Grantville 17028. Departure time will be 10:00 AM so it will warm up a little.
I'm still working on the final route but it will definitely include a visit to Lake Strause and some nice fall scenery.You can expect the distance to be between 26 and 28 miles, with elevation climb 1300 to 1400 ft. The toughest climb will probably be Camp Strauss Rd (yes, it's spelled differently than the lake) which tops out at 7% but is doable for any C rider.
This is a C paced ride, and I plan on staying within those parameters of 11 mph to 13 mph. No rider will be dropped. I will have a couple of cue sheets available if there's a group that wants to go faster.
