REMEMBER THOSE WHO SERVED 911 - MEMORIAL BIKE RIDE
We will do a MEMORIAL RIDE remembering those who served our country . September 11, 2025 is the 24th Anniversary of 911.
Please gather at Fort Hunter barn side at 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM departure. We will make several stops - 1st stop the 911 Memorial on the campus of HACC . John J. “ Ski “ Sygielski MBA , ED.D. President & CEO HACC Central Pennsylvania’s Community College will welcome us. We will place 24 American flags, moment of silence . Option to return on your own to Fort Hunter to make a shorter ride 7 miles.
Continue riding to the Fireman Monument , Holocaust Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, and the American Legion in Wormleysburg and return to Fort Hunter.
We will have the support and participation of the Harrisburg and Susquehanna Police Departments.
Spectators, family, and friends welcome to join us HACC. Memorial is located behind the Senator John J. Shumaker Public Safety Center One HACC Drive , Gate 5 , parking available .
Other bike clubs and individuals are welcome to join this ride, you do not have to be a member of HBC . This ride is mostly flat and all paved. 20 miles at a 10 to 11 mile pace.
Helmets required, hydration, extra tube and a snack is always recommended.
AMERICAN FLAGS WILL BE PROVIDED
PLEASE WEAR RED WHITE AND BLUE
Weather cancellation by 7 AM morning of event. If ride is cancelled we will still meet at the Memorial at 9:30 am .
