About this event
Get ready for the First Glow Ride for the Harrisburg Bicycle Club (well...at least one that I'm leading).
Light up your bike and your body so you can "glow" as you "roll". I've attached pictures of examples of glow-ing. Feel free to use fluorescent paint on your face...as the spirit leads. Go to the dollar store and buy glow sticks or you can purchase lights for your bike wheels on Amazon. (Picture of the brand I purchased attached.) Bring any lights you have for your bike, front and rear...the brighter the better!
This is a family friendly event, so kids are welcome! Since it's so close to Halloween, costumes are welcome. Just make sure they are suitable for cycling. Remember helmets are required.
