Hershey Briarcrest Square : 6:00 PM<br /><br />There is good chance of rain this evening. For the undeterred riders, I have prepared a more local route which will allow for the ride to be shortened as conditions change. The route is planned for a total of 30 miles and 1,600 feet of climb. We will begin going west out of Hershey along Old Chocolate Ave, then pick up Canal going northeast. We will continue south along Gravel Hill Rd, then returning east along Ridge Rd and Hershey Park Drive. <br /><br />A cancellation notice will be sent out by 5:00 pm. If not cancelled then, we will reassess at 6:00 prior to the start,<br /><br />Ride Classification: C+ – For the experienced group cyclist. Flat to hilly terrain. Average speed between 13-15 mph, with distances typically 20-45 miles. One brief stop midway in ride or as necessary. No rider maintaining a 13 mph speed will not be dropped. Terrain: Rolling
