We will the leave East Hanover Park and Municipal Center by 8:30a.m. for a 43 mile ride on rural roads.

Where - East Hanover Park Start.
When - Saturday, 5/21 leave by 8:30
What - 43 mile route, C+ pace.

Each year we go up Moonshine, usually two or three times. The route plan to is to go up Moonshine, assemble at the the White Church then to descend Ridge, roll up Rt. 72, enter the Monroe Valley and exit on the easy climb on Camp Strauss road. Then through Jonestown and out Race Horse Road and start West by the Union Waterworks. This is a rural route with low traffic. Details are to be firmed up to keep the route under 45 miles.

As temperatures will hit 9 a.m. by 9:00, bring plenty of water with you electrolytes and snack. Sunscreen is also recommended as the morning will be full sunshine. The ride is a C+ with a mid ride stop and other stops as needed. No rider keeping to a 13 - 15 mph average will be dropped.

The route. I used MapMyRide as Ride with GPS has been becoming more difficult to work with by not permitting many roads - Grantville Route - Moonshine Union Water Works Route - MapMyRide

The likelihood of storms is low for Saturday, but should the forecast change, the route might be altered or a cancellation will be made at the latest by 7:30 a.m. There is plenty of parking and descent restrooms at the start location.
