Let’s try a new start location!

The June 3 Saturday C ride will depart at 9:00 AM from the Fishing Creek Valley Community Center, located at 1361 Fishing Creek Valley Road, Harrisburg 17112. This location is just 500 feet west of the driveway for the Boyd’s Big Tree Preserve. Look for the white sign on the right side of the road just before the gravel driveway that curves up and to the right.

Once you get to the Center, please park in the parking area that is to the right and behind the building. Do not leave open spaces, as there may be another group using the front of the community building.

Our route will be approximately 27 miles with about 1400 ft of elevation. The steepest climb will be up Sleepy Hollow Rd, and we’ll be glad to wait for you at the top. We will have a break stop just short of mile 15 at the Exxon/mini-mart on Bow Creek Rd.

This is a C ride and our speed will average between 11 mph and 13 mph. No rider will be dropped. If this is your first ride with HBC, or your first C ride, please contact me before Saturday so we can ensure you have a positive experience.
