What is this?
Cyclists who ride to bring awareness to the 911 National Memorial Trail http://911trail.org will be arriving in Harrisburg on Monday, June 26, from Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
On Tuesday, June 27 the Harrisburg Bike Club will escort them on a historical bike tour of Harrisburg, starting at 9 a.m. from the Market Street Bridge. All bikers are welcome to join and helmets required to ride with the group. Parking is free on City Island - meet East Shore of bridge 8:45 am 15 miles 9-10 Mph

From there the cycling group will arrive at the 911 Memorial on the grounds of HACC’s Senator John J Shumaker Public Safety Center at 11 a.m. for a public program.
Return to Capital - optional lunch at Roxy’s
Speakers will include Randy Padfield, the Director of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and former PSC Director and Pennsylvania Task Force 1 leader who participated in the rescue and recovery mission at Ground Zero. He will be joined by Bruce White, Advisory Board Member for the 911 National Memorial Trail, who will discuss the 1,300-mile multi-use route that links the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the Flight 93 Memorials.
