About this event
This Sunday, September 15, 2024, Owen's Sunday Sociable ride is scheduled to start on City Island. Meet at 7:00a.m. for introductions/announcements. We’ll be turning pedals at 7:15a.m. Meet between the two bridges to the island. I’ll be hosting this ride on behalf of Owen Moore.
SHORT RIDE
This is planned as a casual ride of about 60 minutes in duration at a relaxed “D” (social) pace of 8-10 m.p.h.
Wear your helmet; it’s required for all Harrisburg Bicycle Club rides. Bring water. Bring supplies and tools to change a flat tire if one occurs.

OPTIONAL THREE CREEK CENTURY EXTENSION
The HBC is hosting a spectacular event right after this ride. You’re invited to participate.

Where:
Penn Township Fire Department
1750 Pine Road

The walk-in fee is $55, and is used to fund the operations of the Harrisburg Bicycle Club. There will be opportunities to do multiple rides and meet new friends. There’s also an opportunity to volunteer to help run the event and support the Club. There’s a discounted fee of $40 if you volunteer, and a free lunch.
AFTER they ride and eat soup & cookies and other great food.
Alternatively, skip Owen’s Sunday Sociable today and go directly to the Three Creek Century. They’ll be more people there, much better food, and rural roads to ride on.
For more information on the Three Creek Century, see the HBC web site under Events or Calendar.
Come ride with us.
