About this event
Join me for a scenic ride on the north side of Mechanicsburg. Scenic = some hills, but it's September, and we should be ready to climb by now. I'm slow on the uphills, so you are allowed to be slow, too.
Start time: 9:00 am
Start place: Wegmans, 6416 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg. Park at the end of the lot near the Market Cafe.
Route: About 29 miles of a combination of hills and flats, with most of the hills in the first half of the ride. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/37332378 There will be a rest stop at Middlesex Park about halfway through the ride. There are porta-pots but no food or water, so make sure you have enough for the ride.
Lunch: Lunch will be after the ride at Wegman's. They have a large dining area and there are many types of food to choose from, including sushi, salads, pizza, subs, and soups.
Pace: 12-12.5. If someone want to lead a group at a faster pace, that's fine.
