Hershey Briarcrest Square: 6:00 PM. Ride Classification: C+. For the experienced group cyclist. Flat to hilly terrain. Average speed 13-15 mph, with distances typically 20-45 miles. One brief stop mid-ride and when necessary. No rider who maintains the posted pace will dropped. Forecast is for mid-80s, with the possibility of afternoon showers or thunderstorms. If roads are wet or there is a 25% or greater forecast for precipitation, decision will be made to cancel by 5p. Don‘t forget water and charged lights for safety. The proposed route goes into Mount Gretna and then a .7 mi southern climb over Mount Wilson on Butler Road. RWGPS max grade indicates 8.8%, although your Garmin may show more. (Mine always does.) The descent down the north side of Butler is steep on a poor road surface. Caution is strongly recommended. The Mount Wilson summit concludes the bulk of the elevation. Proposed route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/40079663, approximately 36.4 mi, 1,672‘ elev
